Bioinformatician – permanent position Egle Therapeutics is a spin-off from the Institut Curie created in early 2020 by Luc Boblet, a serial biotech entrepreneur, and Eliane Piaggio, Director of the Translational Immunotherapy Team at Institut Curie. Egle Therapeutics is a private biotechnology company dedicated to the development of immunotherapies targeting regulatory T cells in the fields of oncology and autoimmune diseases. Responsibilities: The candidate will join a bioinformatics team and will be in charge of analysing internal and public genomic data (single cell RNAseq, ATACseq, CITEseq, bulk RNAseq, repertoire studies...) in order to identify new biomarkers and new therapeutic targets. Tasks: - Perform analysis and visualization of internal and public NGS data - Evaluate and integrate community-developed bioinformatics tools - Participate to a wide range of projects - Carry out analyses that guide the work of peers, technicians, students and/or other support staff as necessary to achieve specific assignments - Writing of the protocols and study reports - Analysis, interpretation, edition, and presentation of the results in a way that is understandable to non- bioinformatics experts - Preparation and participation in meetings of a technical and scientific nature - Analysis of the bibliography and share/integrate interesting data Profile: - PhD in bioinformatics and/or immunology or equivalent field - Solid experience in immunology / immuno-oncology is a real advantage - Experience with programming in R. Python is a plus - Demonstrated experience in analysis of the NGS data - Ability to conduct interdisciplinary research in a collaborative environment - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Level of English autonomous/current (B2 to C1) On a day-to-day basis, you are flexible in managing your work and priorities and thrive in entrepreneurial environments where you enjoy emulation and dynamism.
