We are happy to announce that the Austrian Bioinformatics Workshop 2025 and our Workshop on core facilities and Research Data Management (RDM) will take place at the BOKU University in Vienna on September 23 and 24. Both events directly succeed the 8th AMICI Symposium in the same place on September 22.

Four sessions are planned for the Austrian Bioinformatics Workshop 2025 on September 23:

  1. Bioinformatics highlights
  2. New methods for *omics
  3. Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in Life Sciences
  4. Computational infrastructures

Posters will be welcome. Lunch and a dinner reception will be served at the venue.

The Workshop on core facilities and RDM on September 24 will focus on structure and operation of facilities with focus on life science data and computing, as well as new tools and strategies for the management of research data in Life Sciences. The workshop will facilitate the exchange and collaboration between facilities and data stewards in Austria. A preliminary agenda for this workshop will follow soon.

Please all save the dates September 22 (for AMICI symposium) and September 23-24 (for Austrian Bioinformatics Workshop 2025 and Workshop on core facilities and RDM) on your calendars. Further information will follow soon.
