Austrian Bioinformatics Workshop 2023

The Software Competence Center Hagenberg, the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, the Softwarepark Hagenberg and the Austrian Bioinformatics Platform welcome you to Hagenberg (Upper Austria) to participate in the 2023 Austrian Bioinformatics Workshop under the motto "Computational Biology, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science".

The workshop will take place on September 25-26, 2023, from lunch to lunch. The workshop will offer a number of keynote speakers, insightful talks selected from abstract submissions, workgroup discussions and social activity. We will also focus on national research infrastructure for life science data, including the new ELIXIR node Austria. The number of participants will be limited to about 50. Registration remains open until the workshop, as long as capacity is left.

Venue

The workshop will take place in the 4th floor of the scch (software competence center hagenberg), Softwarepark 32a, 4232 Hagenberg im Mühlkreis. Watch out for signs that guide you to the meeting room.

The software park Hagenberg can be reached by public transport and  by car: https://www.scch.at/kontakt. Directly besides the scch building is a car parking area (labeled with a red circle in the plan below), with usually sufficient capacity for visitors. If this area should be full, additional but limited capacity is available in the adjacent garage or in other parking areas at the campus.
